    My son drove down from Indiana last week to hang out and do a little hog hunting.
    I haven’t found any good places to hog hunt nearby yet, so we paid to hunt at a 1,000 acre ranch down in Crockett, that I had been to before. We hunted for 3 nights, and saw hogs every night, just not a lot.

    Never saw more than two hogs at a time, and most were spotted at 500 plus yards.

    His first Texas boar. We stalked this one for 2 hours to get the shot. It was mingling with the cattle, and we had to get close enough to get the cattle up and moving.

    We were watching a pair of pigs on the other side of this fence, when the pigs disappeared, and this guy came out. As he started back into the woods, I barked at him and got him stopped. Son missed, and he started running. I connected on the second shot. Even a blind squirrel....
