I’ve had corn dogs at fairs and festivals. They were deep fried and yummy.
I have shied away from grocery store corn dogs. Are any grocery store baked corn dogs good? i find this intriguing.

I usually eat 3. do 2:15 in the microwave and 4 minutes at 400⁰ in the air fryer. Game changer.

Don't forget the 50/50 ketchup/mustard sauce.

We get the HEB frozen corn dogs. I do em in the microwave, then coat with peanut butter before pouring maple syrup all over them. I’ll usually eat 3 of em. They make me happier than a seagull with a french fry.

I hate microwaved corn dogs and another food that gets soggy. I prefer to use the oven or air fryer. I like my food crispy on the outside not mushy.

I've not had corndogs since last summer.

The small farm town my family is originally from still has the small ice cream / fast food shop I went to with my Grandparents.

Whenever I am near the area, I stop by for a fried lunch and vanilla malt!

The air fryer alone does a piss por job of cooking the "meat". That's why I microwave a little then finish in the air fryer for that crispy goodness. It's the only hybrid I support.

If you have to retreat to frozen corn dogs and fishsticks a conventional oven works best, cooks and crisps well. Had some fishsticks yesterday.

I disagree, air fryer is the way to go for crispy. Especially fish sticks.
