OK guys, I'm hunting some magazines for a Magnum Research Mountain Eagle or a Ram-Line Extractor .22 pistol.
Let me set the stage. Magnum research (Desert Eagle) made these in the late '80s.
Ram-Line picked the design up after MR dropped it.
MR has since produced and marketed a single shot rifle under the "Mountain Eagle" name. (yeah, gets confusing)
I really love this pistol. I bought it new as a special order after a Guns and Ammo review just "slobbered" about it.
After taking possession, I ordered a holster and hi cap mag from MR. I have all still and function is great.
Now for the problem. The mags are uber hard to find and the last I found was going for a $100.00 minimum.
If anyone knows where I can get a Mountain Eagle or Extractor magazine, please let me know.
Otherwise, I may have a pistol and accessories for sale for the price of the 2 functional magazines I have. ($200.00 was the original purchase price of the gun and a 15 rd factory mag).

    Thanks in advance.

Have you checked with CDNN in Abilene? They carry all sorts of hard-to-find magazines.

How about Midway USA and Brownell's?

Midway and Brownells are no go.
CDNN shows none on website. I'll call 'em in the AM.
    Thanks.

It might be worth your while to check with Numrich. They usually buy out suppliers when businesses go under (or stop importing certain models).

My reason for mentioning it was because they look so similar, I would think the 20rd would not go all the way to the basepad in the pistol & leave a gap.....guess not.

Dude, I've been looking for this business card everywhere to help you. Then today when I drove the truck and saw it, I remembered what I drove to the gun show ... back in April. Lol
They had some mags I was wanting and couldn't find anywhere else. Good luck.

De nada. I'm sure what I was looking for isn't as rare as what you need but if I remember correct, all they deal in is mags.
Plus Dad was a really nice guy to boot. Good luck.

Guess I'll stick their number in the phone while I'm thinking about it ;-)
