NYPD CELL PHONE CRACKDOWN YIELDS THOUSANDS OF TICKETS - New York Post
9016 x $120 = $1,081,920
I hate talking on the cell when I'm driving. I usually don't answer since it's distracting.
Faster and easier than raising taxes.
I hate using my cell phone, period.
Podnuh, the revenuers already slobbering over the future fines here, lots of towns are no-no-ing cell phones in school zones, won't be long until the leftists make cell phone use illegal driving, then the thing will spread like the mumps and measles. Look at open beer cans, seat belts and all the other nitpicking fines here in our Texas.....
Cell phones don't cause accidents. People who can't multi-task do.
That said, there are times I'll talk on my cell while I'm behind the wheel, and times when I know better. It all depends on the operator's skill and the conditions.
I violated CA's cell phone ban a few times, never was caught. But that's because I could drive, talk and keep my watch for police cars up. Not everybody can probably do that.
keep any phone calls you HAVE to make brief and to the point, Use radio protocols if you have to. Talking about what color sweaters boobs look best in should probably wait- at least until the next red light
