Honor Flight - 2011 Taking vets to DC.

My cousin takes vets to the capitol to visit every year helping out a non-profit organization.

They transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill.

Thought I'd add this to counter some of the negative stories around here.

I think I gave some money to them a couple years ago. They were trying to get a bunch of WW11 vets to washington but was short on cash.

Tell him the traveling Vietnam wall will be in Crosby, TX this November if he wants to bring people out this way as well. It will be at my American legion post.
