It is my right to be a hopolite!

    GOB,

In ancient Greece, a hopolite was a VERY LIGHTLY ARMED Greek warrior (Such a warrior usually had a short bow with arrows, javelins & at least one dagger as his primary weapons., who relied on SPEED, stealth & attack from ambush to WIN an engagement with a heavily armed enemy.

Hopolites were the armed scouts, snipers & "skirmishers" of their day..

    yours, satx

Ran across this term today and I find it a perfect word to describe the insanity on the political left:

Hopophobia as a “mental disturbance characterized by irrational aversion to weapons.” Colonial Cooper, who created this term, stated that people who suffer from the fear of firearms stems from the manifestation that the weapons have a will of their own, apart from the user.
    What the "L"?
