    Gunz are icky.
I haven't been to ASC in many many years.
Have a few questions about the place:

1.) Can you fire long guns off-hand?

2.) Whats their rule on rapid fire?

    3.) Steel case ammo allowed?

4.) How close can you park your vehicle to where you are shooting? If I bring a bunch of gear I don't want to have to haul it very far.

    1) Yes.
    2) No rapid fire. Not sure what the definition is.
    3) Yes
    4) Depending on how crowded it is, you can usually park fairly close. If you get there first thing, you should be good to go.

I'd most likely be in if it were 12th or 13th as suggested by one poster.

If you haven't been to ASC in a while, one thing you need to be aware of is that with this new year they now require you have a scannable membership card. You have to get online and complete an application to make that happen. It doesn't cost anything. This is for folks who don't want some sort of paid membership. I did it on a computer in their store. Do it at home to save time when you first show up to shoot.

You can fire offhand, as has been said.

What plenty of people don't know is that you can actually shoot prone on even the 50 and 100 yard lines.

I really like ASC with the exception of this one fella' who insists that I should be able to lock the bolt of my Arsenal to the rear. He may technically be right, but when you do that a 5-mph wind will send the bolt home.
