I purchased it to use for trapping venomous snakes for a biologist who produces antivenom but I never got the project going. The 15 inch midsection/extension is removable to create a normal size minnow trap. These are very well built and MADE IN THE U.S.A..The price is about $50 apiece from most sellers.
