Houston man shot during pistol purchase

A south Houston man was rushed to the hospital after he was shot Wednesday while buying a pistol at his home, police said.

The man was shot about 4:45 p.m. inside his home in the 4500 block of Alvin. His roommate later told officers that three men were trying to sell him a handgun when it accidently fired, Houston police said.

The man was taken to an area hospital in critical condition. His name was not released, but police said he is 20 or 21.

The three men fled and remain at large. The pistol has not been recovered, officers said.

There is no indication of foul play, HPD homicide detectives said.

discharge of firearm in city limits is a crime I am sure
I would not leave the scene of a crime
unless I had warrants, gun was stolen, drugs involved, etc........

I doubt I've ever agree to a FTF at my home with unknown people.

And who in the world sells a p istol with live ammo? I mean really. It's so darn expensive these days anyway. Sorry yall, if I sell you a gun, I'm keeping the bullets!

Has to be a fabricated story.

Why...because everyone knows that gun stores don't have pistol ammo anymore! Come on...when is the last time YOU saw pistols for sale....AND ammo...in the same place?

    LOL

Well, I'm here in Commiefornia at work (God I hate this place) and they have ammo and guns on the shelves...ofcourse that may, and I stress that is only a may, be because they make it so hard for anyone to buy a gun in the first place...I mean who needs a gun in sunny So. Cal.
