    I had an MSAR AUG clone. It was alright, but wound up selling it for an AR. IMO the Tavor is set up quite a bit better, trigger is maybe a touch better (bullpups don't have stellar triggers - it's the nature of the beast), and I like the overall layout and features a lot more than the AUG.

    Because of the big, open space around the trigger. Sure it's inside that knuckle guard, but that's hardly going to keep the trigger from snagging on anything. With any other rifle, you'd never see something just slip inside the trigger guard and wrap around the trigger. Now look at the Tavor. It's one step shy of having the trigger hanging out with no guard at all.

    Hasn't been in issue in 35 years in the service of several countries with the AUG. The Israelis know short rifles, probably better than anybody else on the planet. I'm pretty confident that they've got this one right.
