2-3 weeks ago I made the mistake of feeding a stray dog that came onto the property where I hunt. She immediately imprinted on me and wouldn't leave me alone. She would follow me to the stand and ruin all my deer hunts. I'd chase her off but she'd just run 50 yards and wait in the brush to walk back later. I tried leading her away but she found her way back. I'm not an asshole, I'm not gonna shoot her.
I'm hoping that she's gone already since last time. But if she's not, what could I do?
The nearest town is about 30-45 minutes away

I'm guessing just adopting the dog is out of question? If not, see if you or someone have the spare time to turn her into the nearest shelter

Bring her back to town with you and take her to a shelter
At least she will get a chance

I'm panning to go hunting this weekend. I'll report back if she's still out there. It's pretty awesome that y'all would go to such lengths. She's honestly a really sweet dog. I'd have no problem with her if she'd just stay at the house instead of following me. She hops and digs under fences to come find me.
I feel like she'd choke herself or chew the leash if I tied her up plus she wouldn't let me put a collar on her

If you do adopt the dog, be very watchful and careful. Dogs who have been abandoned can have (not always will) problems, particularly around other dogs. I have seen this first hand.

    In the woods...
Take her to a shelter or contact a rescue organization. There are TONS of folks who help with these exact situations. If you don't find a solution, pm me and I'll try to help. I've got some contacts with rescues in the Houston area who might be able to make contact with somebody close to you.

On the off chance she's someone's lost pet, you may want to check to see if she's microchipped. Sometimes a stud finder will indicate whether there's a chip or not. I think most shelters have chip scanners.
