I haven't held enough guns to definitely say this is the case, but I've never ever felt a plastic gun that had the balance and was as intuitive to aim as a 1911. Not even the fnx 45 shot worth a damn compared to my fav 1911, and I had very high hopes for it. I'd love for one to change my mind though

Walther P99 (I do like the Magnum Research MR9 better), Walther PPQ, and Glock 19-5 all do it for me.

    1911 is best.

That's also not to say I think I'm superior or whatever either. I have a good friend who is a wayyyy better operator than I am that just does not like 1911's. It's all personal preference.

I just want to be able to watch the fun as the kids sort out who gets what....4 kids that love guns - 2 boys an' 2 girls. Was just talking to the oldest boy yesterday, that I wanted him to help me re-inventory the safes.....he looked at me and said "Do you know how long that's gonna take?!?" LOL

He should see the positives in that chore: one, gets to coon finger cool guns. Two, a good time to make his “stake my claim list”.
