How Long Does it Take to Go to the Back of Your Mind?

How long does it take to move to the realm of afterthought that you just spent a bunch of money on hearing protection but can’t use it until permission is granted?

Couple of weeks? A month? 3 months?

The wait and permission is one reason I have a hard time going thru that process. But I am tempted to SBR an AR9 pistol I got if I'm happy with it. I guess a can at the same time couldnt hurt anything but my wallet.

It takes roughly 2-3 months. My first one was 10 month wait. I bought it end of Oct. By the end of the holidays i was at peace with it.

It cleared in Aug on my birthday, during a solar eclipse. I couldn't believe it. Awesome birthday present to myself

Actually exactly six months from the time my check was cashed on 4/2. The Sandman -S I wanted was not in stock and DeadAir was having production issues so after 8 weeks I just had my order changed to a Sandman -l

Driving back from vacation/ hunting and I got the email. My stamp just arrived, a few days past 5 months.
Can't wait to put some rounds thru it.

I’m a month in on a form4, ATF still hasn’t cashed the check so the actual clock hasn’t started.

I may need to do some more form1’s in the mean time, at least the eform1’s are taking a month or less.

If I were you I'd be sweating the whole time worried about how fast the Dems are going to get to changing the NFA. Of if biden is going to put the slow down order on the processing of forms.
