How many acres are required to shoot on and hunt on? In the mills county.

There is no easy answer. Is land unincorporated or incorporated? If incorporated, when? In a subdivision or not? Then you have to check county or city ordinances. Texas law provides a minimum, but even then there a restriction on distance to homes and stuff.

Main factor is if the neighbors will call the cops. Then it doesn't matter. No amount of backstop will keep the Sheriff out your yard. Even if it's legal, they'll tell you to stop. Now if you hear the neighbors shooting. Different scenario. They're probably kewl with it.
