Last time I specifically paid attention to an article referring to an "arsenal" it was 6 or 8 Fudd guns.

At the end of the day it seems to be a Humpty Dumpty my words mean what I want them to mean (at any given moment) thing.

For an arsenal as a quantity I would assume a rack(s) with a couple hundred of the same type of rifle. I would also assume dozens of other "weapons" in crates for various other spots on teams. For the amount of ammo, it would have to be measured in pallets.

No Rambo shit here. In my opinion the transition from a personal collection to a private arsenal probably tips at about 250 items.

That is just spit balling. I have seen pictures from WW1 and WW2 that had stacks and rows with probably thousands of rifles. I think the definition of arsenal is way over used and should only apply to the cooperate or government level of storage. More like a place than a quantity.

It is like dumping out 2 of the 550 Federal 22 boxes and saying "he had over a thousand boolets"

A number of years back, a friend dropped in while I was assembling a Coleman canoe. I facetiously remarked that I had a new item to add to my resume: shipwright. While he found the notion of assembling a canoe making me a shipbuilder comical, the media are doing that same thing here. If there are two guns to rub together and enough ammunition to fill one magazine for each, they scream "ARSENAL!!!!!!" and scare the living hell out of the sheep who predictable clamor for the .gov to "do something". Objective reality (or any pretense of truth) are out the window.

Suspect had 15 firearms and "hundreds" of rounds so the press calls it an arsenal.

So folks, what is an "arsenal"?
DimmRats, by definition, will never have an arsenal - no matter how many or what types of firearms they own.
    Republicans/conservatives = 1 non-functional sling-shot with no ammo is an arsenal!

That's funny. I have always prescribed to the theory of one per year old. I have a good friend that transitioned to one rifle, pistol and shotgun per.

With that being said, I don't own any. I am just here for the pictures.

I agree with your friend, although he really should go for two pistols per year of age......
