Doesn't really matter to me, I have no intentions of ever bringing a long gun to the campus. My classes have a lot to do with fire, not fire power.
Knowledge of both are essential...be safe and enjoy the summer that's upon us~
The first of this year, I use to see a lot of carriers, cc and oc, now not so much. Dunno, maybe the novelty of it has worn off here where I'm at? Me and my boss are the only one's that I see or can tell thats carrying.
We aren’t allowed to carry at work, or in our vehicles, but there are several of us that do. I know of 9 in our little section of maybe 50 that are carrying off and on.
just wondering why you factor out felons and guys not legal in some way to carry. I bet the % of felons with a gun on them are higher % wise than LTC holders.
My company is foreign owned and publicly traded, with relatively few employees in the Permian Basin. They don’t like firearms at all. The funny part is they put up a photo copied 30.07 sign at the front door of our main building, and believe that keeps firearms out of all buildings and all properties. So far, we have all been smart enough not to correct them.
Somebody on the staff need to tell your company management folks that "gun free zones" do NOT stop violence any more than stop signs stop cars.
Someone should also tell the DUNCES that since WWII that all but 3 mass murder incidents have occurred in "Gun Free Zones".
(Posted "Gun Free Zones" actually ATTRACT vicious criminals, as criminals are mostly cowards & PREFER helpless/cowering victims.)
Office policies at my last place of employment forbade employees carrying weapons, but there was no restrictions put on ANY visitor to the building.
Wouldn't want to turn off any customers.
