My Friend past an left a bersa 380. I been having for years i want to keep it nut need to find out if its stolen or not

Sorry your friend is gone, but why do you think it's stolen? Was he a criminal? Was he known to steal things? Is there really a friend? Did you steal it and now want to know if it's reported so you can pawn it?

If none the of the above, don't worry about it.

If it was not legally willed to you, then yes it is stolen and you are the one who stole it.

Otherwise keep it and go on with your life.

Pretty sure if the friend has passed, that he really cares that you have it. Just a guess on my part though.

The Bersa is aluminum right? Just put it in an ultrasonic cleaner with simple green.
