I heard about this board from bimmerforums.com. I'm also a member of the HKPRO forums and my gun forum activity comes and goes in cycles. I'm helping a car buddy get his first handgun, an HK P30, so I've been surfing and reading up on them.

Welcome to the forum - from Austin.

It is an upgrade from the HK P2000 that I used to own. I haven't met anyone that owns one yet. HK makes a nice pistol, but I found the trigger was just too mushy to shoot as accurately as I like to. Good luck.

Thanks guys! My friendo and I went to the gunshow at Dallas Market Hall yesterday and could not find a P30. Well, Schramm's had one for $800, but mi amigo didn't feel comfy buying it from them for $60 savings over Bullet Trap in Plano. So he ended up buying it from Bullet Trap.
