I'd like to say "Hi" to everyone here and thanks to texcross for accepting me into this august body.

Currently live in the People's Republic of Massachusetts but hopefully not for much longer. I plan on moving to either Texas or Wyoming as soon as I am free to do so. Too many progressives/socialists/downright (expletive deleted) you-know-whats to contend with up here.

I'm retired Air Force and have been active in emergency planning/management for many years. Have been a gun owner since 1971 and plan on keeping that status. Still have the first firearm I ever purchased, a 1957 Marlin 39A.

Look forward to sharing information and learning more about shooting and working on my firearms.

    Lost in East Texas
I intend to leave Mass in a most biblical way. As i cross the state line I'll stop my car, get out, and shake the dust from my feet.

    As in Matthew 10:14.
On a serious note, have you given any idea of a specific area or town you might be interested in moving to if you move to Texas?

As far as cities and environments, Texas is big and diverse.
