Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Ft. Worth used to be known as "Hell's Half Acre"? Or was it just that section of town?

I believe that was the saloon district from many years ago. I believe its safe to say its replacement is the Stop Six area.

Is was just that section of town, the area on which now sit the Ft. Worth Convention Center and several blocks there. It truly was the last of the old wild west. Saloons, whores and hats. City fathers decided it was giving us a bad reputation so they raised it all. All we have to show for it now is memories and arrest records.
