Hunting hogs with a knife and with dogs is common. Spears as well. Cold Steal even has a reasonably priced hog spear.

Yeah I have been wanting one of those. I like the Cold Steel products. I used to have one of thier Kukiris and it was an awesome knife. Very intimidating to Afghanis...of course the Gurkas I worked with some got me a handmade one from Nepal...very nice....

I have been wanting to go after piggies like that. I tend to stalk hunt them any way...more of a challenge. Not saying I won't tap one from 300yrds if need be.
