Well I am over 65 and get brake, but they make you give you SS# to get the license and I don't think is right , do you????

The good news is that it takes the Legislature at least two years to foist new laws upon us ...

The bad news is they are way behind on identity theft.

The original idea was based on a liberal feel-good idea: Hunt down dead beat dads who liked to hunt and fish. They never thought about hunting down crooks, gang-bangers, and drug dealers who don't use their Social Security Numbers to ply their trade.

If you are in arrears with child support or anything else the gubment can control, you'll get no license.

Same applies to DL or CHL etc.

I sell them all day at wally world, never had anyone denied. They are supposed to use it to chase down dead beat parents, it is a federal requirement. Works as well as prosecuting falsefied 4473s. Good intention, lousey follow thru.

They also track your hunter ed course completion in their computer so it matches up.
