I have been busy getting a few rifles ready for this season. I have a Savage 111-243 and a 116-243 , one is mine and the other I let my son and daughter use. I haven’t loaded for them since 2018 and I typically only load about 30 rounds at a time.
On my strictly hunting guns, I may only shoot them 10 times per year including final scope adjustments before the season starts.
Also, I am getting my Savage 270 ready to go to South Texas this year. My company has a large range about an hr south of Pleasanton where I was able to take my best white tale to date in 2018.
It’s nice to know everything is ready to go this early. I ran out of venison a long time ago, and I’m looking get some freezer meat early on.
