I finally figured out that the barrel I bought was a TABUK SNIPER barrel. (never heard of one)

Apparently Saddam Hussein contracted Zastava to authorize the rifle built on M70 platform.

Bought the M70 kit and populated the barrel with M70 parts.

Just need to finish putting everything together. (still going with RPK style buttstock)

Thanks for all the advise on the Scope mount TreyG-20.

The mount is fantastic and fits PERFECTLY. (50 thou gap to the rear sight)

The long relief scope needs forward mounting so I'm glad for the long scope rail.

The gas block cutoff will be a small lever for the sound muffler to eliminate the AK POP signature. I do not need the grenade launcher (or bayonet) so it will be just a flash hider when the muffler is not attached.

I did build another M70 (NPAP) as original so I got all sorts of things sorted before this project.
