After going to the local Walmart and being forced to wear a mask to get in, I went to the local HEB. ( I only went to the Walmart to get some meat ravioli that may granddaughter requested, the only place in the big town. ) Anyway back to the HEB. After I had all my stuff I was heading to the checkout. And some guy walks up and says "Thanks for being a patriot" I tried to figure out why he said that . I had on a blue Hawaiian shirt and a hat I got at the Eagles Nest in Austria. Then it hit me, I did not have a mask! So be patriotic and no masks.

I have never worn a mask, and refuse to. Went to Lowes once, and they were making people wear masks at that time, I left, and went elsewhere to shop.

The next week, they weren't making, but asking customers to wear a mask.

Same thing happened at Tractor Supply Company. I turned around and left and went somewhere else.

The next time we went a couple of weeks later, they were asking customers to wear a mask, not requiring it.

On the other hand.......while at the VA for a procedure the last week in the nuerology clinic......an older vet came up to me and said, "Welcome Home"........I can only guess, because I was wearing an Army Vet ball cap and I guess I look young. I got out in 1991. I was in Panama during the "invasion" and was in during Gulf Storm..........however, I never went to the midlle east. I didn't even catch it until minutes later.............just went on with my appointment.

Friends of NRA dinner in Conroe made everybody sign a waiver, but maybe 5 people in the room wore masks. Remarkably there is no pile of dead bodies.

My thought is that if you ask me to wear one, that's ok. Pretending it's a real, enforceable law pisses me off. Believing that it's anything but theater makes me pity you and wonder who dresses you in the morning.
