    To paraphrase Mr. Carlson from the famous Thanksgiving episode of WKRP in Cincinnati, "As God as my witness, I didn't know pigs could fly."



    This was a big boar. He was apparently shot through the neck behind the jaw (as near as I can tell) and was hit a second time (both impacts producing an audible THWACK) by the third shot before clearing a 4 foot, tight, barbed wire cross fence before being hit a 3rd time. As I am very allergic to poison ivy, it would not have been a good idea for me to try to do a search for this hog in the thicket. Had I been able to see him with thermal, it might have been another matter.

    I'm pretty sure he said he thought Turkeys could fly.
    This was after they dropped live Turkeys over the street from a helicopter, and people were running for their lives.
    Of course, it's been many years since I saw the episode in question, and I could be mis-remembering.
