I had not thought about snakes being out already and have been working in tall grass picking up downed branches before I mow. I guess I should exercise some caution moving forward.

Aside from that, I don't recall the last time I killed a snake, but I have relocated a lot of them.
Most snakes perform valuable functions, so I try to let them be

Maybe this is a sign of things to come.

    A "vision" requiring translation.

... Maybe the Moonpie has received a spiritual message that Colt's will be introducing a new revolver in their snake series line-up!

    Hmmmmm……… Colt Coral Snake
    Sounds interesting.
    It should be in .327

I've never seen a Coral snake in the wild. Seen a few non-venomous ones here on my property and left them alone.
Last year there was a Cottonmouth next to the back deck right where the kids and dogs go. Used a shovel to cut his head off.

Colt Coral Snake should probably be .22 Short... Not very fast, but it can still kill you close up...

I have a rule... if you're in my yard, I'm gonna kill ya. I've laxed on that. Came out the garage the other evening and a yote was 75yrds out. I just stood there looking at it. Killing never feels good. Sometimes I don't wanna disturb nature.
