ive been toying with the idea of purchasing a kel-tec plr16
anyone had a hcance to play with one of these? i hear they are super duper loud but a blast to shoot.
and they sure do look neat. im thinking it would be a great companion to an ar15 seeing as how they use the same magazines...

You get what you pay for, I'll say that much.

They, pistol length ARs, are louder than shit because they burn half the powder outside the barrel. Alot of flash, very boomy, very loud.

I'm with Baboon, the pistol thing gets old. The gun is awkward without a stock, in my opinion. I'd only buy a pistol length AR to SBR it later.

My daughter has the kel tec and it is a fun gun to shoot . It would make a good truck gun but thats about all as they dont make holsters for them.
She also has an AR with a few goodies on it from Talon Arms in Houston

"mini cannon" ?? I guess... if you call 1 1/8" smooth bore breech loader "mini" Fires blank rounds or round balls or hollow base mini ball rounds. Not sure what the range is yet... havn't found a range to shoot it at yet. Not sure of the MV either... but a half pound ball moving around 900 fps. is likely close.. MG
