    Eli,

GREAT SCOT. - NO WONDER, I was confused. Also, THANKS for your CORRECTION & GOOD INFO.

There were TWO companies that made .30 Caliber carbines & used the abbreviation "IAI" on their receivers:
    1. IRWINDALE ARMS INCORPORATED of Irwindale, CA
    and
    2. ISRAEL ARMS INCORPORATED. of Houston, TX.

I don't suppose that you know of anyone who has one of the "MMJ clones" by the Houston company??

I don't know anything about it. I mainly know about the IAI guns because I almost bought one a couple of years ago - in 5.7 Spitfire! It was CHEAP, because there's little to no commercial ammo available; I looked into re-barrelling it to .30 Carbine and decided against it.

    Eli,

Presuming that it's not a "practical joke" a man in Philly has an "original" (whatever "original" means in a Johnson) MMJ carbine for sale for about 300.oo. = I'm calling him in the AM to find out all that he may know.

Btw, a set of case-forming & reloading dies is 88.00 plus postage.
