But the UK has a way around the peasants way around their ridiculous/stupid.......insert stupid useless fear of inanimate objects law here......, it's called faux democracy. Parliament, where you only think you vote for those who make law if you're retarded cause they wheel n deal to share power and care not for the people. They will never let the people vote for anything of substance directly again after Brexit.

At least in the US we end up with divided gooberment and it keeps us from complete insanity thru gridlock.
