I've been working out for about six months and in that time have learned a lot about fitness through reading and my own experience. I used to belong to planet fitness, but was disappointed that they lacked some of the equipment I wanted to use.
Crunch gym is much better. It's only a little more expensive than planet fitness and has a bigger selection of equipment. Plenty of treadmills and elipticals for cardio. They have actual bench presses and squat racks unlike planet fitness which only had smith machines.
They also have a couple large punching bags.
The also have classes which are included with the higher level of membership. I took the cheaper membership $10/month and haven't taken classes.
