    Ok so its more like Legos but I do like it. I have 556 and 22lr from rifle to braced pistol. I am trying to decide what Caliber next only rule is locked breech not blow back.

    So lets see what people want to see.

    When you say build are you strictly talking tinker toy or did you 80%. 80% adds an extra level of build satisfaction and accomplishment. Haven't gone done that road just yet on 1911 but 80% 1911 is looking rather apealing due to the level of complexity... 80% ARs were a lot less difficult than I expected.

    legos level did the 80% ar wasnt any more fun than just putting one together. I will say the 1911 thing was fun but that was 30 years ago

    Question for you builders, pure ignorance on my part, do you use go and no go gages on these builds and if not why not?

    I haven’t used them but that’s because I put a lot of trust in the barrel manufacturer I buy from. I do have a go no go for 5.56. Just haven’t used it

    Is that 6mm arc
    Not sure if it carries another name.
    The 6x45 is .223 brass necked up to .243 diameter.
    A member here has one in an AR platform.
    It adds a lot of distance and punch with just a barrel swap.
