I Love Shopping At HEB

If HEB sold guns and ammo, I would be in heaven. Imagine being able to buy guns, bullets, beer, beef, bread, beans, burritos, and butter, all under one roof.

I live a couple of blocks from Henry's daughter. Been to her house a few times for kick-ass Christmas parties. Her dad was the US ambassador to Australia - they had a couple of good pics of him shaking hands with JFK. Whatever. The small HEB closest to me has the highest alcohol purchasing per person rate in the good old US of A. TX State can party with the best of them.

Here in killeen the walmart n HEB each have something the other doesnt. HEB has those hungry man angus burgers, walmart doesnt. plus HEB has a better selection of donuts (cinnamon sugar to be exact )

They have the best tortillas in the world, especially when they're fresh. Unfortunately I don't like shopping in big supercenters, and usually go into a smaller to mid size grocery store as I mostly only need one or two things, so I haven't been inside an HEB in a while.

I prefer Randal's, but as already noted by others HEB has best store bought tortillas and pico de gallo. Their coffee selection is really good, too. Probably the best coffee beans you can get for the price.

Our local HEB has a clearance rack that I'll check out when I'm there. Today I got a 30# bag of cat food for 13 dollars. Purina at that!!

And no, I never knew Henry.
