Serious question - Why not?

I'm no home maintenance guru; I suck at it. I tend to powerwash everything in the late fall, around Halloween. I didn't know I was doing it wrong.

Well, it's in the mid 30's and the wind is howling.
The leaves are blowing in and sticking to my sealer.
But the imperfections in it's finish only add to it's character, right?
Bozz, Ya' done a good job, I must say.

Thanks. That was June of 2017. I didn't seal it and it has returned to gray, but still looks better than before I washed it.
