i miss westerns like tom horn what happen to them all?

    Hollyweird loves making money off of what has worked in the past with remakes. The problem with their remakes in my eyes is casting. I won't spend money to se a remake of Tom Horn with Snoopp Dog, nor would I pay to see Will Smith in John Wayne rolls.

    I really don't care if you call me a racist for those views but I'll own them. Just like all the indians & mexicans in the ones I grew up watching were mostly white guys.

    I always found it "somewhat amusing" that nearly ALL of the "Germans" in late 1930s-1960 war movies were Jews & about 1/3 of the Indians were Jews, too.
    (My college roomie's DAD was a "German" in about 50 WWII-era war movies. - His name was SAUL LOCKWOOD & he was ORTHADOX too..)

    Blazing Saddles! I can't believe that no one mentioned it.

    In PC Hollywood, there is no way that they would make a movie like that today.

    That movie isn't the traditional western, but it's hilarious!

    If you go back into the 40's and 50's there are boatloads of great westerns.
