    The Ruger gets my vote.
I bought a Ruger IV 22/45 for about $300 online. It's super easy to shoot, super fun to shoot, mags not too pricey and so far it's eaten every POS .22LR I dare to load it up with (well, except Winchester white box.. got a bunch of no-fires with that crap). I got mine from CDNN; looks like price went up a little bit from last year but.. still seems reasonable to me: https://www.cdnnsports.com/catalogsearch/result/?order=relevance&dir=desc&q=ruger+mark+4

Man and I thought I was crazy for living in Richmond and being a member. ;)

So we have two members and could bring per the rules 2 guests each. I'm sure we could stretch that slightly for a one time thing.

What ammo are you running in your GSG 1911-22? Mine has issues with all but Mini Mags and those even start to have extraction issues after a few boxes.

    Gunz are icky.

CCI mini-mag 40grn solids in all my semi .22 pistols.
It is the only ammo that reliably functions in all of them.
Bulk crap ammo is useless. Do not go there.
Buy the good stuff and celebrate happy cycling.
My GSG 1911's will not cycle with the MM 36grn HP's.
Can do about 300rds before having extraction issues.
A few swipes with a bore snake will keep her running until a thorough cleaning can be done.
You have to keep the chamber clean as possible.
.22ammo leaves a waxy build up as well as barrel leading. It has to be scrubbed out.
Use a bronze/copper bore brush to scrub the barrel and chamber during cleaning.
DO NOT use a stainless bore brush. It will damage the rifling. Fact is NEVER use a stainless bore brush on any firearm that has rifling.
A nylon brush will work just takes longer.

That is what I have found, my Rugers, Beretta, and revolvers all eat the bulk federal like its going out of style. Was hoping to hear that I just needed to shoot it more and get to that point. Plinking should be cheap!!

The only semi I have that will cycle the bulk crap is a S&W MP-22 Compact.
The GSG 1911’s, Stoeger Lugers, Walther PPK/s, Beretta 21’s will not run on it. Its just too weak.
The revolvers of course run anything. Even shorts.
I buy the 40grn MM and run it in everything.

    Beautiful!

I was torn between the Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite and one of the smooth barrel variations. Then I looked at the weight. So, the Lite it is (or is gonna be as soon as I finish paying for it).

    Beautiful guns both!
