Hail all, just an invite for everyone to come out to Terrell and shoot IDPA on the 3rd saturday of each month ( www.tr-pc.com ) your match fees include free lunch and drinks, the meal itself is worth the match fees.

Do you have to be an IDPA member to attend? Can you bring any semi-auto pistol or is there a list of approved pistols? Are the 2 mags that came with the pistol enough or is this one of those sports where you need a bunch of spare mags?

You do not have to be a member of either IDPA or Terrell Rifle and Pistol club. The rules for IDPA can be seen here at www.IDPA.com , for first time shooters bring what you got we'll try and help you out, a holster is needed for your pistol or revolver, 2 mags will be enough but 3 is better. Safety is most important, and haveing fun is next, Hope to see you there.

I might be able to make it...what time does it start? what time does setup start?

Setup up starts around 07:00 and signup starts as soon as the secretary gets there usually before 08:00, if all stages are set and everyone is signed in first round down range at or a little after 09:00. The last few matches we've have had a big turn out even with the cooler to cold weather so the matches have been running a little long. Hopefully we'll be able to set up more stages with smaller squads to help everything move along faster and get done around 13:00 or 14:00 hours. See you there.
