I've never been in a dollar store.

I don't blame you. The last two things I bought from there were some Vitamin C and a bathtub drain stopper. ~$5 for both.

They have DVDs in paper jackets. Most of the movies are crap. On cartoons you can find a DVD that plays for hours. Vintage, classic cartoons.

It's also the place to buy burner phones or just the SIM card if you already have a phone. ~$20.

Also a place for sketchy food.

Yep. Better check the can to see if it's Chinese made. If it is, it won't taste the same. Like sweet peas in a can. Chinese sweet peas look and taste like plastic.

I came across a couple cans chickpeas. One tasted like it should. The other one was funky. Figuring out why. The funk can was from China. The non-funk can was domestically produced.

Worst I tried was Mac n cheese made in Mexico. That was a risky adventure.

That's like buying a chocolate ice cream pop from the Mexican venders that push the cart.

It says it's 'chocolate'. Looks like chocolate ice cream but the ingredient list on the wrapper doesn't say chocolate is an ingredient anywhere on it.

    How old are you?
I kinda quit wanting to watch cartoons when I was... maybe 10-12
It’s not something I really think about anymore.

I miss Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam. When I was a kid, I thought it was pronounced Yosa might. Yosamight Sam. Hah! I didn't get out much.

I also thought the car was Mursa Dees Benz. Not our car. Ours was pronounced Dodge.

I guess we didn't watch the same cartoons! 1'm 59 years old. Nothing I hate worse then the crap the wife has on the idiot box in the morning. Cartoons of my youth would beat Face the Nation or any of the other propaganda on Saturday & Sunday mornings.

Hah....I thought it was <Yos might> like you, without the "A".

And I was a voracious reader but didnt know what a "Yosemite" was yet.

Cartoons: The ones you mentioned but add Johnny Quest.

OnT: Scratch biscuts w/SOS gravy and eggs. Boy dat mamma can cook!
