He knows as well as most of us that the majority of the Republicans can be bought and sold like cattle. Cornyn, for example, is considered to be very conservative, and yet caved on anything the Obamination wanted. The Commie-in-Chief is long past having to answer to Congress and he's made no secret of it.

Honestly, we should try to work out a trade with the Russians for Putin. Yes, he's a rotten, corrupt, Communist bastard, but he'd still be an improvement over Barry. And, he managed to keep our troops from being wasted in Syria. That's more than any of the rat-bastards in D.C. managed to do - and he's our enemy!
