Fine job. I just did the same - bought a Kimber Crimson Ultra Carry II. Just put the 1st 150 rounds through it today. Accuracy is just what every Kimber enthusiast claims. A bit of a bite, as you might expect from a .45 that size, but not too bad. The Hogue grips probably absorb most of it on yours. I'd probably go with the aftermarket CT laser grips if I had to do it again, but it looks damn good with the rosewood. Unfortunately Okierifleman is absolutely correct: I'm already looking for my next 1911!
