I love back seat driving on the way to quarterbacking on Monday morning.

I know, pot meet kettle. I’ll get over it.

People see one of two things in that video:

    1) Overuse of force, too many guns, and not enough time given to the guy to get on the ground before being tackled.

    2) Excellent police tactics, one officer distracts him with conversation, 2 others blind side him and cuff him with little to no injuries to anyone.

Well, here's the way I see it. If they were worried about being criticized for their actions, that video would probably never have seen the light of day.

When dealing with a supposedly armed subject, officer safety and the public's safety is paramount.

I'm not seeing a whole lot of wrong on the officer's part. In the end, everyone is alive to talk about the incident. I call that a good day for everyone.

I went back and watched it two more times, just in case I missed something.

Conclusion? Don't threaten hurt yourself and don't abuse your wife, and have her call the cops on you!

LE officers have to assume that when weapons are possibly involved, there could be a threat to their safety and lives. It may seem over the top, but no shots are fired and the "subject" is alive and well, and so are all the officers. Seems like a good day.

All on the word of a possibly vengeful woman with no physical evidence or corroboration of her story?
He came out peacefully, no visible weapon and no place to hide one he could get to before he was stopped?
    And no prior history?
But hey, the cops stayed safe. That's all that matters.
I'm sorry. But if that many cops, with that many guns on him, are that afraid at that point then they need another line of work.
With what little we know, I would be looking for 2 attorneys.
    One to sue.
    One for divorce.
