I’m in the process of trying to straighten out my ammunition. I just found the IMI 69 grain Razor Core that I owe a buddy for X-mas @ .49 a round. He is getting 5 boxes of 20 rounds!

Even before Kung flu, Hornady VMax 55gr @ Academy was going for about $23 per box + tax. Those are 77gr match kings... about on par for match ammo. Hell just buying 77gr match king bullets to reload cost ya more than .30cpr.

That's pretty damn close to pre-covid pricing. Hornady match was about $100 a box anyway.

thats why I looked into my crystal ball and bought cheap/stacked deep over the past 7 to 8 years. I honestly have more ammo than I'll ever shoot. Still doesn't stop me from checking academy out when I'm running around though. I left ammo at the store shelf today. I feel proud of myself lol

They have always been pretty proud of that razor core stuff. Probably 70 CPR or so pre panic. So I'm not that surprised. That's still just less than double. Completely out of control all the same.
