hope you get the interview done, love to see the result from it.....and you would think they would have ONE English speaking person to do the interview....or are you needing the person to cover you and make sure they translate it correctly?

I think the channel that wants to get the pics/interview is the Spanish station. It covers better to get a fluent interviewee rather than risk alienating or insulting viewers. Kinda like when our politicians learn a phrase to pander for "latino" votes

Hablo Espanol pero estoy en el Japon.

They need a person familiar with the TX OC issue for pics and probably a short interview. They need to be familiar with the OC bill proposed for legislation.

I didn't know there was an actual bill already. Do you have or can you get the bill number or link to it?

Now the whole non-English language (and I assume they aren't in need of someone from Spain?) thing makes me wonder why bother with the interview as it's trying to get support for one issue by supporting another problem.

Yup, got the link here: OpenCarry.org's Open Carry Rights Restoration Bill for the 2009 Texas Legislature - Texas - Stories From The States - OpenCarry.org - Discussion Forum

If you're interested in this interview you'll need to be a member of OCDO (preferable) and get in touch with Mike to touch base. But I think it's a great opportunity.
