You're probably not surprised that America elected Barrack Hussein Obama, but I am. I honestly believed that we were smarter than that. And I'm not disappointed in the Obama voters; most of them can't help themselves. They're simply a product of failed social theories, a vapid public school system that provides no historical reference and teaches children that we're all winners, and a greed-motivated pop culture that demands success and instant gratification with no personal effort or responsibility.

I'm angry with the conservatives, whom I know are out there, but sat their apathetic asses on the couch, watching FoxNews, agreeing with Sean Hannity, laughing with Rush Limbaugh, shaking their fist at Keith Olbermann, yet didn't get out and vote. They'll go to church and "Amen!" to the stories of the crumbling of American core values. They'll bitch to their co-workers about how America is going down the tubes. They'll run out and buy guns because they believe they'll be harder to come by next year (or worse, they know they'll increase in value), but they won't put forth the effort to vote. They won't actually integrate themselves into the system and help guide it. Satisfied to sit on the sidelines and complain that we're going to hell in a handbasket, these so-called conservatives have let us down. If you're one of these arm-chair conservatives, shame on you.

This race was labeled many things: a battle of the Haves vs. the Have-Nots, the Good vs. the Evil, the Rich vs. the Poor, the Black vs. the White. In reality, it was all of these things at one point or another; but moreover, I believe this contest pitted those who believe in the minimalist and conservative ideals of the Founding Fathers and the spirit of the Constitution vs. those who believe in a large, 'benevolent' Federal Government that will cradle and nurture all Americans like a loving parent. This was a race between personal responsibility vs. relinquishing our rights and responsibilities to Big Brother. This election was a contest between those who work hard and want to retain the fruits of their labors vs. those who are jealous of your success and want to take it from you.

Today, I mourn for America. I expected more. Living in Texas, I suppose my reality is a bit skewed. Would that all Americans were Texans.

I voted first thing yesterday...le sigh. After listening to a number of coworkers celebrate that one of (and this is their words) "their kind" finally got elected, I finally just walked away mumbling "not about race my fat hairy ass".

I never understood the reliance on the Clinton PUMAs (Party Unity My Ass) that were so angry that the wicked witch of the north east didn't get elected that they would vote McCain just to spite the Obamination. Ah well. I did my part. At least now I wont need to wait as long to tell my few lib friends "I told you so."

I expect that there will be a lot of people out there who voted for Obama who will be expecting pure and simple handouts to them. It won't be that simple. If they don't get cash in their hand, boy are they going to be ticked! Like most politicians I believe Obama is in politics for his own power and money. I don't believe that he will be giving out the handouts like what some people think they are going to get from him being president. I do expect him to try to tax the crud out of us, but I don't believe that the "poor" people will see much of it. But, that is my opinion. We will just have to wait and see what happens.

If any of you are Nostradamus fans, then it is necessary for someone like Obama to become president of the US for his predictions of WWIII to come true. If you think that predicting the future is BS, then I guess it doesn't matter. Still, history has a bad habit of repeating itself. An apathetic country, with a weak leader, has a tendency to get caught up unprepared in a world war. Just a thought.

I don't believe in predicting the future in any supernatural sense, but I do believe we can predict the future based on the historical and somewhat cyclical behaviors of people.

I'm disappointed as well. I mean the sheer landslide Obama won by shows just how completely ignorant the average citizen is in this country.

In fact, I had some cordial arguments with several Obama supporters at work. They all couldn't pat themselves on the back enough. I clearly explained the issues and why he is going to financially and economically ruin this country. Their response was that they voted for him because they are black, and he is black. On top of that, they actually said the whole wealth redistribution thing was a good thing. They couldn't understand how anyone rich could be allowed continue to keep making and having lots of money, and they actually thought it was the government's responsibility to TAKE from those successful people and give to the less fortunate because they don't really "need all that money". Hell, I could use more money. I'm sure the vast majority of Americans could. Though I certainly don't want the government stepping in and STEALING from those that have worked hard and made something of their lives.

I'll say this much, the vast majority Obama won by shows just how many uneducated, unmotivated whiners there are out there. Bottom line, they need to get an F'in education, work to better themselves, and actually strive to improve their life. Handouts are for WAB's (weak @ss b*tches).

I wrote Ron Paul in. Yeah it's a throw away vote, but principle is all that matters to me, as it should be.

My friends and family overseas can't believe American's as a whole were this stupid. What country does everyone want to come to and make a successful life for themselves? This country. So why do people want to make this country like ones people try to get away from?

I voted McCain and I hoped he would win just to keep obama out. But the truth is I didn't want either one of those two in the white house. The "republicans" act like liberals. The dims are socialist. This country can't destroy itself fast enough. I have no faith the votes are accurate, we saw ACORN do it's thing, obama's past, his illegal contributions, the media running screen for him... time for Texas to secede. (fixed it)

After this election, I really do question the thought that "one should not attribute to mallice what could very well be explained by stupidity".

There is no way, NO WAY, the American populace could be this stupid. None. We have space ships and jet planes and computers and plastic wrap. There is no way we were this stupid.

    There is no way said:
That just shows there are still some smart people in america working hard (and about to get taxed to death).

The american populace is just sitting on there fat ass watching propaganda and bitching about why there not rich after getting that High school diploma with an impressive 2.0, if they even have that.

Unbelivable!!!! The gentleman across the hall at work voted for 'change', but was never able to tell me what his idea of change is???? But then again, to him my conservative principles are anti semetic, and racist.....
Oh well, keep the date 01-20-2013 in mind, that's when Senator Obama will be out of a job.

I've decided that any time I post anything about him, the name I use is going to be "Obama, the socialist, marxist, neocommunist piece of shit"

    Every time.

Of course I mean that with the most respect.

Of course. I'm just gonna follow McCain and call him "that one". Course, race has nothing to do with it, it just seems fitting.

I guess that anybody that criticizes the guy will instantly be labeled a racist. That sucks. I don't care about his skin color. If his politics mirrored my beliefs, I would vote for him and be proud of it.

Personally I think they can put that race card where the sun doesn't shine.
