Summed up, the new Harvard study tells us that Fewer guns= more crime. More guns = less crime. It also suggests that gun control laws are counterproductive. It's amazing that our Liberal media can ignore a major study like that and continue with Obama's propaganda effort.

notice the number of school or close to school shooti ngs are on the news now

State if the union address tonight

    Coincidence?

Do you think they occur fairly regularly and they just tend not to report all off them until it fits their agenda or that there is an uptick in these incidences coincidentally at this time?

It is better to gun-proof your kids than kid-proof your guns. Remove the forbidden factor from guns in your child's eyes and they will no longer have any interest in them.
That's how my father raised me. I was allowed to take the guns out under his supervision and had to go through all the safety-checks before doing anything else, etc, etc. It completely removed the "forbidden fruit" element, and even if I *had* been tempted to remove one without him being there, I'd at least know how to handle it safely.

I'm sure that many here went through a similar experience as children.

Can confirm. First took my son to the range when he was 4. His intrest in my guns was like night and day from the morning heading to the range, and the afternoon we got home. To this day, he likes my guns, but isn't actively interested in them.

People come in the store to ask me if their kid is old enough to start learning about guns. My answer is allways the same" I don't know, are they?" Everyone is different.

Private ownership of firearms = the ability to resist.

Therefore private ownership of firearms is not compatible with socialism.

    It's really that simple.

As for why the MSM goes so anti-gun, their ratings are based on shock and entertainment values - not on presenting facts. (Facts are boring.) "Children are being MURDERED!!!" will draw in viewers. The whole leftist movement is about feelings, not facts, so this all just dovetails together nicely.
