Article: Insane Clown Posse sues FBI for labeling 'Juggalo' fans a gang - CNN.com

FBI analysts, using law enforcement and media reports of crimes committed by people wearing "Juggalo" tattoos and clothing, concluded in the 2011 National Gang Threat Assessment that they are a "loosely organized hybrid gang."... People with "Juggalo" tattoos and clothing have been illegally targeted by police and denied jobs because of the FBI's gang designation, the complaint contends.

This is just absurd. One guy said he was denied the ability to join the Army because his ICP tattoo was deemed "gang-related." I hope they win this suit.

It's more the point that their fans have now been labeled a gang, which has connotations in several scenarios w.r.t. Law Enforcement. It'd be like them labeling TGT members a gang because we support evil black guns, etc. It'd be like saying anyone with a Molon Labe sticker is a hostile Militia member.

Their only crime is being 20 something and acting like I did when I was 15.
Yep, except they are 30-somethings now, lol...

Even though I think jaggalos are a bunch of low class retards, this suit will set an interesting precedent. They definitely aren't a "gang", so why are they labeled as such? What recourse do you have if you belong to a group that is labeled a gang? How are you "guilty by association" if you've never committed a crime?

How does anyone know who their fans are.

How does a "fan" who tries to get a job get turned down because they are a fan?
