    Another one from my "era" of music is gone. You know you're getting old when the songs you listened to as a teenager and young adult are now called "classics."

    You always knew what song was coming up when you heard the Hammond B-3 organ intro... Saw them live in Lost Angeles shortly after this song was released. I was higher than a kite and I loved the show.

    R.I.P. Lee Dorman. Your bass line lives forever in this song.

    When I was a teenager I had a bud who was a college radio DJ, he said In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida was the perfect bathroom break song. Since then, every time I hear it, I figure there's a reason why it's playing...

    Look at it this way, he outlived John Entwistle by 13 years and Keith Moon by nearly forty years!
