I hope the Kershaw Ripcord comes with Band-Aids, that looks like it will take practice.

Went to FTWgunshow sat found a Ripcord 25.00 ,New
Sliced the end of my trigger finger open "Practicing"
1st day I wore it, Stabed my palm of my hand.
knife flipped up when i sat down , blade came out 1/2" ,unknown to me
    reached to ck knife...........ouch
now my rt hand is sore,

I called Kershaw asking about a Sheath for it..
    told her about my hand.....
they offered to exchange it for another type knife, free.
She said those are scarry knives,
I said I collect knives and had several kershaws.
    but what about a Sheath?
she is sending my a sheath ,nocharge

This was my last carry, use daily knife. An assisted version would have been nice.

With an awl on it? Cool.

I am sure Delta is getting some cool shit like the Benchmade OTF, but who knows about all that secret squirrel shite.

They get whatever they want. They can purchase over the counter instead of having to go through the supply chain. My understanding is (I've never been there, so couldn't speak from experience.. just research) that they'll actually leave stuff like that up to individual soldiers. Not much is "standard-issue" in Delta, from what I hear.

FYI, that is a Buck Mariner, and the correct term is Marlin Spike.
Burned through a few of those spending summers on a sailboat!

FWIW ~ I have been stopped for traffic situations 3 times in the last 3 years. I have a CHL that I promptly gave with my insurance and license. I was courteous. I only got warnings.

Perhaps luck. Perhaps my demeanor. Perhaps that I had a CHL and gave them the info up front.

I was always reluctant to get an assisted opening knife for the reason that it could be interpreted illegal. I don't agree but do attempt to follow the law. I even see no reason for prohibiting auto-knives. I will even tighten up my everyday work Benchmade HK knife that can loosen up and be 'flipped' open.

It is good to know that LE's are favorable to CHL here in Texas.

I was a MP and all I got was a stinkin' Leatherman! I am sure Delta is getting some cool shit like the Benchmade OTF, but who knows about all that secret squirrel shite.

    Whit128,

Did you confiscate that Benchmade Infidel? You know that sucker is worth about $300 bucks?

Yea, it came off of an intoxicated individual who claimed it was his issue knife but I never got any call back.
