That place is in dire straights indeed due to the exodus of evermore companies and people (luckily the 2A friendly and predominately red types land here). 2A blues go to OR, WA or CO.

It's also legal to give AIDS to someone there, but illegal to go maskless - lest you give someone the China Virus. No lie. It's batshit crazy out there....

When I was in California, they had a backdoor means of taxing the military. I was active duty Army and my wife was a GS. When it came time to do taxes, they taxed my wife based on the tax bracket we were in when we filed our federal taxes instead of the bracket she would have been in filing separately.
