Jamming problem

I have an ar10 build consisting of Areo Precision upper lower and big. Also a Ballistic Advantage 1-8, 18" ss barrel.
My problem is constant jamming. Any help would be appreciated.

Define jamming. Won't extract, double feeds, etc?

Jamming how? Doesn't extract. Doesn't feed. Double feed. It only works when a mag is inserted with the bolt closed(In battery). And the bolt is racked to load the chamber? Verses inserting the mag on an open bolt(out of battery). Releasing the bolt and it "jams".



We need details.

What magazines have you tried?

Pmags work great in mine. DPMS mags work too but don't seem as smooth.

The type of jamming can be very indicative of the problem. We need a good description of what you are seeing.

Fire a round and new round feeds while spent case is coming out. Crushes mouth of empty and sometimes 3 way jam bending a round against top of chamber. I'll try to see if I can post pics.

What ammo are you using ?

If it is a weaker load you could be seeing under gassing and may need a stouter load.

What happens if you cycle a few rounds with the charging handle?

A couple of things: Could be a damaged extractor or weak spring. Possibly a damaged ejector pin or weak spring.

Also, how does it behave when you single load a round into the magazine? Does it fire and extract/eject it properly ?

Haven't tried that.ill call my brother and tell him to try that.

If you load a single and fire it will jam.
Will not extract.
